This event is staged for the industry, by the industry and as a result the Expo’s primary charter is to stage the event at minimal cost outlay and only seek to recover direct costs. There is no requirement to make a profit from the running of this event. The voluntary committee’s focus has been the return on investment for all exhibitors. As a result, you will see and experience a more streamlined approach to exhibiting at the Expo. It’s a back to basics event. After the 2011 Expo we asked all exhibitors to provide feedback about the event to ensure we offer the best Expo possible. We have taken all feedback into consideration and are now actively working towards providing a bigger and better Gold Coast International Marine Expo for you in 2012 and in future years.
HOW WILL THE EXPO BE PROMOTED?
The Gold Coast International Marine Expo has partnered with major mainstream and consumer media outlets to promote the Expo given it’s wide appeal to boating enthusiasts. The marketing campaign for 2012 will build on the brand awareness formed in 2011. A comprehensive marketing and public relations campaign is now under way that will bring together an effective mix of direct marketing, television, radio, newspapers and internet mediums to create awareness of this exciting boating event.
