In 2014 there are 3 display options available:
1. THE MARINA
The combined marina’s accommodate hundreds of vessels including: Power boats Sail boats New boats Brokerage boats Monohull Multihull Houseboats Superyachts The marina’s are located on both the Gold Coast City Marina and Riviera sites and are linked together to create the on-water display circuit component. The marina berths are charged as a set fee per foot (ft) and will vary depending upon the length overall (LOA) of the vessel. There are also two different costs, depending on whether the vessel is a multihull or monohull. All vessels will be moored stern to the marina unless otherwise agreed upon with the Expo committee.

2. OUTDOOR SPACE

The outdoor space is broken into 2 different options:
1. Marquee Sites
2. Open Space
Please note that all outdoor options DO NOT include marquees as many companies already have their own tent. This enables exhibitors to bring and erect their own structures to help save on additional hire charges.
1. Marquee Sites
The marquee sites are broken into:
3m x 3m sites
6m x 3m sites
These sites are colour coded in orange on the site map and are charged as a set fee per site.
2. Open Space
The car parks and shipyard are transformed to become the main walkway display area’s of the Expo.
The open space option is for all open-air exhibits ranging from, but not limited to:
Fishing gear and accessories
These sites are colour coded in yellow on the site map and are charged per sqm.
3. INDOOR STYLE MARQUEE

We have created indoor style marquee’s for displays that need carpeted booth style walls, optional closed off section at the back of the site and raised flooring for protection from the elements.
The indoor style marquee sites are available only in:
6m x 6m sites
The rear 6m x 3m marquee can be closed off and utilised as a stock room, change room, storage room or as additional display space, it is completely up to you.
The front 6m x 3m marquee is an open marquee to be used as the main display area for your stock and materials. This front marquee also acts as an awning offering all day sun and rain protection.
These sites are colour coded in light blue on the site map and are charged as a set fee per site.
The following is included:
- Professionally installed carpeted booth style walls at the rear (6m x 3m) to allow for the hanging of posters and other similar material
- Raised carpeted flooring to protect stock and materials from the elements
- 4 energy efficient white down lights
- 1 table (1.8m x 75cm) plus black linen
- 2 white plastic chairs
Please note: The indoor style marquee is strictly limited and will be available on first come, first served basis.
With the introduction of a nominal entry fee for visitors of $8.00 per adult, $5.00 for seniors and kids under 15 free when accompanied by an adult, exhibitor passes are crucial in 2014 working as your entry pass to Expo.
Passes will be hole punched each day as you enter through the gate and a colour coded wristband will be provided, which must be worn at all times.
The quantity of passes will be allocated based on your exhibitor spend at Expo, table below:
CAR PARK PASSES
Free parking is provided for exhibitors in various designated Exhibitor Car Parks throughout the Precinct and will depend on your site location.
The car parking is offered to exhibitors on a first in, first served basis (non reserved parking).
Car parking passes are to be displayed on your vehicle’s dashboard at all times and must have your contact details completed and clearly visible should we need to contact you.
Car park passes will be allocated based on your exhibitor spend at Expo, table below:
Please note your Exhibitor Pass and Car Park Pass entitlements will automatically be included in your Exhibitor Kits.
These kits will be sent out in early August to the postal address listed in your application form.
Queensland Hire is the Expo’s preferred hire company.
Queensland Hire have everything you will require including marquees, tents, weights, fascias, chairs, tables, stages, carpet tiles, catering equipment and the list goes on.

ADVERTISING IN THE OFFICIAL EVENT PROGRAM
Interested in advertising in the 24 page, full colour 2014 program?
To secure a prime advertising position in the official event program you must book early, as there are only a strictly limited number of advertisements available.
The 2014 official event program will have 53,000 copies inserted as a ‘lift out’ in the Saturdays Gold Coast Bulletin as well as be distributed to all visitors as they enter the Expo.
